Chud is a free, open-source skin changer for League of Legends that sits next to your client — pick any skin for any champion, browse thousands of community custom skins, install existing announcer packs, share picks with added Chud friends, and never miss a ready check again. ModScan inspects archive structure and contents before Library installation, with optional hash-only reputation checks. Installed and local mods can also be scanned on demand. These are heuristic checks, not a guarantee that every file is safe.

Already using an older Chud? If your build checks only GitHub and no update appears, install 5.3.8 from the download mirror once. Current builds check the mirror first, then GitHub. Anonymous GitHub release links are currently unavailable; this mirror is the working download channel.

ModScan — inspect your mods IN CHUD

ModScan inspects archive structure and contents before Library installation, with optional hash-only reputation checks. Installed and local mods can also be scanned on demand. These are heuristic checks, not a guarantee that every file is safe.

Announcer packs IN CHUD

Install an existing announcer pack from the Library and select it from the Announcer controls. Existing packs remain supported. The voicepack and skin creation tools have been removed.

Any skin, any champion

Chud's picker pops up the moment champ select opens — pick any skin, owned or not. Chromas, custom mods, historic skins, and a random roll. Choose which tools to enable; availability depends on the current game/client and required files.

Party sync with friends

Enable Party sync in the Party page. Use Copy my party code to share your code, or paste a friend’s CHUD code and choose Add friend. Only added Chud peers appear in this view. Friends’ announcer and custom-mod downloads have separate controls. Shared selections use signed room messages; signatures do not prove ownership of a Riot account.

Auto-Accept

The ready check gets accepted the instant it pops — even while you're alt-tabbed watching something. Never eat a dodge timer again.

Skin Library

Browse thousands of community skins, maps, announcers, and fonts right inside Chud — search by champion, one-click install, and everything shows up on the Custom Mods button in champ select. Curated champion packs install the top skins for your main in one go.

Download & run

One small installer, installs for your user only. Chud requests administrator rights on launch.

Start League

Chud finds your client on its own and links up. Green light means go.

Click the pill, go wild

Pick skins right inside champ select. Review available updates in the app, then install and restart when ready.

Skins are better with friends.

Party sync needs a party. Find people to queue with, get help, and hear about updates first.
